Ronald’s Obituary Ronald Sherman Norris, 71 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his home. Ron was born March 22, 1947 in Kansas City, son of Edward and Beatrice (Devasher) Norris. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Sarah Jean VanGordon in January of 1966.

The couple moved to DeSoto, Kansas, where Ron worked for Sunflower Ammunition Plant for five years. They eventually moved to Oak Grove, Missouri. He was an auto body repairman for many years.

Ron lived north of Warrensburg for the past twenty years. He enjoyed raising birds, gardening, working with stain glass and model car competitions. Survivors include four children: Shawn (Karen) Norris of Wichita, KS; Shannon (Vickie) Norris of Wichita, KS; Sherry Samayoa of Arkansas and Cheyenne (Rebecca Fields) Norris of Warsaw, MO; sister: Edaleen (Kenneth) Luther of Raymore, MO; twenty one grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his girlfriend, Diane. Following cremation, private family services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
