Gayle Ann’s Obituary Gayle Ann (nee Wilson) Jaskolka, 82, of Pocono Pines, died in peace on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton. Born on March 21, 1936 in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Thelma Wilson, and was raised in Pocono Pines. She married the late James Jaskolka (U.S. Army) on January 21, 1957 and was a long time committed and treasured member of the Pocono Pines community.

Gayle is fondly remembered for cheerfully manning the bar at the local American Legion and spending time with friends and family. Witty, tough and willing to do anything to help others, Gayle brought vitality to those around her. Surviving are a daughter, Jamie Lance; a brother, James Wilson; six grandchildren, Cody, Chad, Chea, Crosby, Jaycie and James; two great grandchildren, Mason and Haylie; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Tami, Linda and Darlene; and a sister, Mary Lou Hamblin.

Gayle and Darlene’s lives will be celebrated at a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, March 30th, from 2:00 to 5:00PM at Salem United Church of Christ in Pocono Pines.
