Gaynell Gresham Wallace December 24, 1917 – February 09, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Gaynell Kathleen Gresham Wallace, age 101 of Atlanta, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Born Monday, December 24, 1917 in Atlanta, Louisiana, she was member of Atlanta Baptist Church and was co-owner of Wallace Service Station of Atlanta. Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents, John Phillip “Pete” and Lillie Dale Lee Gresham; husband, John Ross Wallace; son, Phillip Eugene Wallace; granddaughter, Jo Anne Landry; great-great granddaughters, Kristyn Nicole Hoffpauir and Riley Elizabeth Wallace; son-in-law, Hulen Charles Landry.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lorraine Wallace Landry; and her six grandchildren and a multitude of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Atlanta Cemetery with Rev. Chad James officiating.

Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Serving the family as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. The family wishes to extend appreciation to the staff of Autumn Leaves Nursing Home, Dr. Julio Iglasias and Guardian Hospice for the care of Mrs. Wallace.
