Michael Evan Austin June 21, 1963 – February 06, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Michael Evan Austin, age 55 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Born Friday, June 21, 1963 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his father, James Harley Austin, Sr.; niece, Brandi Lynn Parker; and his fur baby and best friend, Oskar. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 34 years, Tami Martin Austin; mother, Gladys Robinson Austin; children, Ethan Austin (Kelli), Evan Austin (Hannah) and Harli Austin; siblings, Sandie Parker (Danny), James Austin (Resa), Susan Jones (Brad) and Paul Austin (Deona); and his four-legged fur babies, Ginni and Elli.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Jones and Rev. Brent Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Logan Jones, Jared Jones, Clint Austin, Garrett Austin, Cole Martin and Gabriel Austin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chip Little, L.C. Barnett, Todd Shirley, Steve Sanford and Marty Rollinson. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
