John Marvin Kelley April 06, 1942 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook John Marvin Kelley, 76 of Quitman, passed away on February 1, 2019 at home after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lodess and Maxine Kelley and a sister Sue Kelley Watson. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Thrasher Kelley of fifty-seven years; daughter, Judi Kelley Diffey and husband Tommy; son, Kevin Keith Kelley and wife Michelle; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Rodney Kelley, Steve Kelley and wife Irma, Danny Kelley and wife Eva; sister, Kim Burns and husband Keith.

He was retired from the papermill where he worked for 44 years. He always had a love of corvettes and old cars and he had a car lot in Quitman for over twenty years, Kelley’s Auto Sales. Visitation for the will be held 9:30 ~ 1:00 Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church in Quitman.

Services will follow at 1:00 with Reverend Craig Stephens and Reverend Stuart Toms officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kevin and Klint Kelley, Daniel and Cody Diffey, newphews, Mark and Shane Kelley.
