Born Saturday, October 12, 1963 in Ruston, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Marie V. Godwin Garner and James Luther Garner. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Joseph Tyler Perot and daughter, Brittany Nicole Garner, both of Winnfield, LA; brothers, David Garner, Norvel Garner (Fonda), Vernon Garner, and Shannon Garner, all of Goldonna, LA; sisters, Angela Smiley (Edwin) and Debra Garner, also of Goldonna, LA; grandchildren, Miya and Breeya; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members, The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
