Diane was the most loving, unselfish person you could meet. She would help others to her own detriment.
She saved many people’s lives as a nurse and nurse practitioner. Diane was greatly admired in Ft. Worth where she was a nurse and nursing administrator.
She received her RN at Cameron Universtiy in Lawton, OK; her BSN at Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, TX; and her nurse practitioner degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Diane worked in all fields of nursing: school nurse, floor nurse, charge nurse, nurse administrator; here in Winnfield she served as a home health nurse as well as a nursing instructor at Huey P. Long Vocational-Technical School. At the time of her death she was residing in Weatherford, TX.
Diane loved people, flowers, and animals. When she walked into a room it was instantly brighter, warmer, and more colorful. Her laugh was infectious and immediately made everyone around her happier.
Diane’s whole goal in life was to help people, especially sick people. She was happiest working in nursing and spending time with her animals. Diane had the kind of personality that drew people to her, and a huge heart to go along with it.
She loved the Lord and read her Bible and other religious books. She was extremely intelligent and very wise in many ways about a lot of things. Her family always came first.
There are no words in the English language that can say how much she is loved and how much she will be missed.
