Genevieve Lucille Randol, 87, of McClure, Illinois died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Integrity Health Care of Anna. She was born November 13, 1931 in McClure to Earl and Mary Stevens Randol. Genevieve was a graduate of McClure High School.

She was was a caregiver for her mother. She had also been a housekeeper at Southeast Hospital for 2 years and a cook at McClure Elementary School for 1 year. For most of her life she was a homemaker and liked taking care of her cat, Priscilla.

She was a member of McClure Pentecostal Church. Survivors include two brothers, Rev. Doyle Wayne Randol of Cape Girardeau and Richard L. (Jane) Randol of Canton, Georgia; a sister, Ramona Easton of Canton; and a special niece and caregiver, Nancy Smithey of McClure.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Ann Randol; five sisters; and two brothers. Friends may call 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Smithey officiating. Burial will be at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.
