James Milton Budd, 80, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born July 6, 1938 in Sterling, Illinois. He was the son of James and Hattie Budd.

He and Karla Anderson were married March 28, 2003 at Fallon, Nevada. He served in the Army and was stationed in Korea. James had over 40 years experience in the military, aerospace and airline industry.

He worked for major airlines including Flying Tigers and USAir and was the aviation maintenance manager at Los Angeles International Airport. He was well travelled and had lived in the Philippines and Japan. Survivors include his wife, Karla Budd of Cape Girardeau; one son, James Budd of Colorado; one daughter, Julie Budd of Vancouver, Washington; two stepsons, Jerry Anderson of Colorado and Michael (Patti) Anderson of Gerald, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Susan (Wendell) Poe of Cape Girardeau; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
