John Edward Cobb, 42, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital. He was born October 20, 1976 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to John Terry Cobb and Toni Kohlfeld Scott. He worked at St. Vincent de Paul School in Cape Girardeau and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus #1111. Survivors include his mother, Toni (Ron) Kohlfeld Scott of Cape Girardeau; father, John Terry (Elaine E.) Cobb of Cape Girardeau; one son, Jordan Matthew Cobb of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Ronnie (Courtney) Scott of Fruitland, Missouri; two sisters, Stefanie A. (Clint) Estraca of Jackson, Missouri and Jessica (Caleb) Diggs of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandfather, John R. Cobb of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandmother, Monica Cobb of Cape Girardeau; one niece, Aralyn Estraca; and two nephews, Colby and Camden Scott. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dean Littleton; maternal grandmother, Celestine Littleton Kohlfeld; maternal grandfather, Edgar Kohlfeld; and one niece, Celestine M. Estraca.

Visitation will be held 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with parish prayers at 7:00 pm followed by a Knights of Columbus Council #1111 rosary. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau with the Rev.

Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri.
