Obituary for Genise Dotson Genise Dotson age 53 a resident of Ooltewah passed away Tuesday April 24, 2018 at the family residence. Genise was a 1982 graduate of Cleveland High School. She attended and graduated from South East Travel Academy in Florida.

She started her career with Life Care Centers travel department and later went to work with Carlson Wagonlit Travel Services. Genise was also an Executive Assistant at Freedom High School and at the time of her death she was Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Chattanooga Food Bank. Denise and her husband were members of Two Rivers Church in Ooltewah.

Genise is survived by her husband of 31 years Joe Dotson, her son Zachery Dotson, her daughters Ashley Dotson and Miranda Henry and her husband Sean, her parents Bishop Perry Gillum and Evelyn Gillum, her grandchildren Mathias, Milani, McKynley Henry, her brother Scott Gillum and his wife Brenda, her mother in law Louise Wallen and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Remembrance and Celebration of Genise’s life will be held at 1 o’clock Saturday at Peerless Road Church, 3301 Peerless Road Cleveland TN. 37312, with Pastor Chris Jessen officiating.
