Gentry Algin King, Jr., 79, of Martinsville, passed away, Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born September 22, 1939, to the late Gentry King, Sr., and Beulah Mae Hylton King. Mr. King enjoyed mopeds, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Martin King; and sister, Maggie Lou Harley. Mr. King is survived by his daughters, Toni King, Lasonja King, and Trena Walker (Jimmie); sisters, Ella Mae Clark, Elsie Lee Reynolds (Robert), Mozella Edmonds, Emma Jean Hairston (Bob), and Elizabeth Ann Dodson (Buster); brothers, Roy King (Bonnie), Coy King (Joyce), Bernard King (Ann), and Nehemiah (Nehi) King; grandchildren, Mario Waller, Shari Waller, Desiree Waller, Justin King and Darion King; and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
