Randolph “Randy” Lee Meeks, 77, of Axton, Virginia, passed away, Sunday, January 20, 2019, at his home. He was born May 22, 1941, in Ridgeway, Virginia, to the late Lee and Florence King Meeks. He was a member of the Wolfe Creek Tribe Native American Cherokee in Stuart, Virginia.

He enjoyed making walking canes, genealogy, antiques, and kept family reunions going every year. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Meeks. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Wall Meeks; daughter, Mandy Lamberth (Danny); son, Rodney Meeks; grandchildren, Brian Cochran (Samantha), Woodson Meeks, Frances Helen Meeks, Joey Lamberth, Shanna Patterson, and Jeremy Lamberth (Katie).

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 10:00 A. M. at Roselawan Burial Park, with Pastor Ed Hartman officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Mandy and Danny Lamberth, 1129 Morgan Ford Road, Ridgeway, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop 63, First United Methodist Church, 146 E. Main Street, Martinsville, VA 24112.
