Dana Marie Merriman, 45, of Martinsville, and formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019, at her home. She was born June 3, 1973, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Judy Bush Perkins, and the late Larry George Perkins. She was a strong supporter of the SPCA and loved animals.

She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Faye C. Walsh, who she greatly admired and loved. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence “Lance” Merriman; sisters, Crystal Tuck and Patricia Underwood; nephew, Jay Young; and her fur kids, Ruger, Maggie, Momma Cat, and Tequila. A memorial service will be held Monday February 25, 2019, at 12:00 noon, at Living Waters Church, 6500 Greensboro Road, Ridgeway, Virginia.
