Phuc Tan Nguyen, 68, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away, Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Lewis Gale Hospital. He was born August 20, 1950, in Thaibinh, Vietnam, to the late Vy Nguyen, and Vy Pham Nguyen. He had a love for music, played the piano, guitar, and flute.

He was a devout Catholic and was involved in St. Joseph Catholic Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Hiep Nguyen, and brother, Hoa Nguyen. Mr. Nguyen is survived by his wife, Lua Doan Nguyen; daughters, Mylinh Nguyen Glover (Michael) and Diemchi Nguyen; eldest son, Phung “Joe” Nguyen and second son, Phung Nguyen; sisters, Chut Nguyen and Chit Nguyen; and grandchildren, Aiden Nguyen and Elliott Nguyen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 10:30 A. M., at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park, 8443 Virginia Avenue, Bassett, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 5:00 P. M. to 6:30 P. M., with Rosary at 6:30 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
