55, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Jeannine (Dube) Pitts. Born in Providence, he was the son of George Pitts of Cranston and Carol Pitts of Warwick.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Christina, Amanda and J.T. Madonna all of Cranston; sisters Cheryl Pitts of Warwick, Tracy Gowdey of Johnston, and Jacqueline Lalita of California; sister-in-law Dianne Goyette and her husband Marc; nephew Justen and niece Ashley. George worked for Cox Communications as a Cox Business Field Services Supervisor for 29 years. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.

George was also an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston.

Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lifespan Cancer Institute at the Miriam Hospital: The Oncology Research Fund, 164 Summit Ave. , Providence, RI 02906.
