Obituary for George Arciniega George Arciniega age 84 passed away unexpectedly at Bickford Assisted Living, Saginaw. George was born November 1, 1934 in San Antonio, TX the son of Louis and Adeline (Rodriguez) Arciniega. He was united in marriage to the former Mary Cardona on August 30, 1958; she preceded him in death in 2015.
George proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He retired from General Motors where he worked for several years as an accountant. He enjoyed golfing, going to the casino and playing cards with his friends.
George looked forward to his monthly “meetings” with his Marines buddies. But most of all George enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly.
George is survived by his five children; Gregory Arciniega, Robert (Cheri) Arciniega, Thomas (Chelo) Arciniega, Kristine (Jack) Mendoza and Andrew Arciniega, fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two sisters; Margaret (George) Soria and Mary Lou Morris. Besides his wife, Mary, George was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Arciniega and brother, Joe Arciniega. FUNERAL: A funeral Mass for George will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM from Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Ave.
, Saginaw 48601 with Rev Fr. Thai to officiate with Deacon Roger Pasionek, P.A. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM.
