70, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA. He was the beloved husband of Mary-Jo (Barth) Vacca. Born in Providence, George was a son of the late Joseph Vacca, Sr. and Florence (Russo) Vacca.

He worked for the Providence School Department as a teacher and Vice-Principal for 29 years, before retiring. Besides his wife, he survived by his children Gia-Marie Vacca of NY, NY and Joseph G. Vacca of Cranston. George was the dear brother of the late Joseph Vacca, Jr. His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston at 10 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-9 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
