of Stone Dr., Cranston, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 37 years of Ellen C. (Harrington) DeLuca. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Gentile) DeLuca.

Joseph was an auditor for the State of Rhode Island Division of Taxation for 20 years before retiring. He was a graduate of Roger Williams University and a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. Besides his wife Ellen, he was the devoted father of Daniel Gentile DeLuca and his wife Gianna and Elizabeth Morgan DeLuca and her husband Joshua Nicholas, all of Warwick; cherished grandfather of Olivia Christine DeLuca and Natalie Ruth DeLuca; and dear brother of Robert B. DeLuca and his wife Mary Elena of Foster and the late James F. DeLuca and John DeLuca.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston on Tuesday, November 6th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery.
