of Toronto Ave. , Providence, Rhode Island, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda S. Quattro-Fisher.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Catherine (O’Neill) Fisher. Jim was a self-employed general contractor for many years and was a U.S. Air Force Viet Nam veteran. Besides his wife Linda, he was the father of Tember Haley of Michigan, Robert Fisher, Terril Fisher, Phillip Fisher and Autumn Edwin all of Wisconsin; brother of Lloyd R. Fisher of Wisconsin and the late Timothy Fisher and Julie Newkirk; and grandfather of eight.

Jim was also the step-father to Aaron Washington of Cranston, RI; and three step-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston, RI, followed by burial with military honors at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI.

VISITING HOURS are FRIDAY MORNING from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
