44, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at RI Hospital. Born in Warwick, he was a beloved son of Joyce (Cunha) Roy of Barrington and the late Robert Cavanaugh. Edward was the loving companion of Rebecca Naylor of Warwick.

He was a landscaper for many years. Edward was the loving father of Alex Cavanaugh of Johnston; Alex’s brother Tyler had a very special part in Ed’s life. Edward was the brother of Bob Cavanaugh and his wife Theresa of FL and Carla DeVita and her husband David of AZ.

Ed was a beloved grandson of Edward Cavanaugh. He leaves behind his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Wednesday, November 7th, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in Joyce Roy’s home, located 52 Talcott Street, Barrington, RI 02806.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgemark Inc., 2020 Elmwood Avenue, Warwick, RI 02888 or to a charity of your choice.
