64, passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Miriam Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Edith and Vincent Desantis. Tony was the beloved husband of Gloria Simoneau, and adored by his children, Cherie and Antonio, his son-in-law Dustyn as well as his faithful companion, Keesha.

Tony is also survived by his loving sister, Doreen O’Connor and his brother Robert Simoneau. He leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and WWE wrestling.

He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, fishing and biking. He loved learning and studying history, with an abiding interest in World War II. Tony was the owner/operator of State-Line Polishing in Smithfield, Rhode Island for more than 40 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue in Providence, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St Thomas Food Pantry located at 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02919 or to the American Lung Association, 260 West Exchange Street, Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903. In celebration of Tony’s passion for the Patriots, please feel free to wear Patriots attire or colors.
