George Raymond Platt George Raymond Platt, 66, passed away July 5, 2018. He was born June 13, 1952 in Ogden, Utah the son of George Henry and Mary Ruth Winward Platt. George married Judy Campbell in November 20,1971 in Layton, Utah.

She preceded him in death on November 16, 2006. He drove truck for many years for RC Willey’s and Smith Food Stores. George enjoyed working on CB radios but more than anything he loved playing with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his son, George Ross (Sydney), Layton; daughter, Andrea (Scott), Ogden; 10 grandchildren, two brothers, Allen (Jackie), Layton; Claud (Elizabeth), Bountiful; and his sister, Tracy (Ken), Centerville. Preceded in death by his wife and parents. The family would like to thank AMG Medical Home Health for the compassionate care provided and especially Alan for his kindness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
