Myrlene Lindsey Rast Myrlene Lindsey Rast, age 91, passed away June 29, 2018. She was born January 21, 1927 to Don Carlos Lindsey and Vera Mae Dixon in Lone Mountain, Upshur, Texas. She married William James Rast, January 8, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Myrlene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons and daughters: Donald James (Barbara) Rast, William Kent (Melba) Rast, Michael Wayne (Valerie) Rast, Daniel Craig (Sandra) Rast, Carol (Max) Liedtke, Janet (Scott) Winn; siblings D.C. Lindsey, Orval Lindsey, William Lindsey, Mary Martha Seahorn and Tim Lindsey. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Michael Berent Rast and siblings Delbert, Travis, Darrell and Howard Everett.

The family would like to thank the staff at Thatcher Brook Care Center and Linsey, Dan and Sarah from Inspiration Hospice and especially Sarah for their wonderful care and service to our Mother. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends and family may visit from 9:45-10:45 am prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
