SYRACUSE – Gladys Susan Houser, 96, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at her home. She was born October 14, 1921 in Wabasha, Minnesota the daughter of Albert B. and Susan E. Stevens Passe. Gladys married Lowell S. Houser on November 2, 1940 in Livingston, MT.

He preceded her in death on November 24, 2002. She was a member of the Unity Church of Christianity. Gladys was a hospice volunteer for 17 years.

She loved care giving, gardening and family activities. Surviving are her children, Richard L. (Rose) Houser, James A. Houser, Edward D. (Linda) Houser, Dona M. (Robert) Adams, nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Private family gathering will be held at a later date.
