Logan Michael Nielsen November 16, 2004 ~ September 19, 2018 Logan Michael Nielsen left us on September 19, 2018 in Clinton, UT. He was born on November 16, 2004 in Boise, Idaho, to Michael Leroy Nielsen and Jentri Jean Christensen Nielsen. Logan was in the 8th grade and attended school at West Point Jr. High.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he knows that his Heavenly Father loves him, and that his Savior lives. When it comes to describing a kid as special as Logan, there just doesn’t seem to be any words that mean enough. His smile was infectious.

His heart was enormous. His kindness was priority in his life; he loved being around his family, friends and loved ones. Logan seemed to be an expert at anything he tried in his life.

He pushed his limits and worked hard at perfecting his skill, especially when it came to playing baseball. Baseball was his passion. His dad coached him on a Competition team, called Clinton Storm.

The brotherly friendships he gained from his teammates are truly unbreakable. This team became a second family for Logan. He played catcher and 2nd base at perfection, and was selected for the Clearfield High School Sophomore Summer Team.

He was one of only two 8th graders that made the team and he was proud of this accomplishment. As much as he loved baseball, he also loved snowboarding with his cousin’s and Grandpa and was a daredevil trying out the Black Diamond Hills on his first season of boarding. If he got on the trampoline you would see him doing backflip after backflip, and loved to teach his younger cousins how to perfect their own flips.

Logan had a lasting effect on any and all that he connected with. He loved picking on his older sister and loved getting her annoyed and stealing her attention. He loved hugging his mom as much as he could and she loved that too.

He felt proud to have an amazing support from his Dad, and knew that he could count on his dad to help him excel in life. Logan you were a light of joy to all of us and that light still carries on through our memories of you, and always will. Logan is survived by his parents, sister, Savanna Dora Nielsen; grandparents, John and Shellee Stoughton, Kim and Deborah Nielsen, and Dave Christensen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton North Stake Center, 1448 West 1800 North. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
