Gerald G. “Jerry” Biesterveld, age 74, of Kaukauna, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. He was born in Little Chute on March 28, 1944, son of the late Adrian and Stella (Kadinger) Biesterveld. Jerry worked as a faithful employee of Valley Packaging for many years before his retirement.

He could usually be seen riding his bike all around the county. Jerry enjoyed collecting model cars and boats. He liked horses and watching old western movies, especially John Wayne.

He was always up for going out for a coke and a cheeseburger. Jerry is survived by a sister-in-law, Rita Biesterveld; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Stella Biesterveld; siblings: Leo Biesterveld, Leon Biesterveld, Rosaline (Bob) Fleming, Betty (Jim) Mathy and Joe (Gladys) Biesterveld.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be next to his parents at St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
