Gerald “Mike” Crane, 52, of Rockford, passed away September 27, 2018. Born June 26, 1966 in Rockford; he was the son of Gerald H. and Donna (Krzywy) Crane. He married Lynette Frazer on November 5, 1983 in Rockford.

Mike was a member of Local 32 and retired from Sjostrom & Sons after 25 years of employment. An avid coin collector, Mike enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, meticulous yard work, dirt bikes, antique toys and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors… Read More » include his wife of 34 years, Lynette Crane; his children, Ryan (Cassity) Crane, Stacy Crane, Jeremy (Rosie Guzman) Crane and Cody (Katrina) Crane; parents, Gerald and Donna Crane; grandchildren, Jaylee Graves and Dalton Crane; sisters, Darlene Crane and Tammy (Mike) Bluthardt; mother-in-law, Vicky VanHouten; sisters-in-law, Gayle Ward and Rosie Marley; brother-in-law, Don Fowler; fur baby, Chase and grandpups; special girl scout, Fallon Perry; and numerous aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jalen Crane. Memorial service 4 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. , Rockford.
