Geraldine “Gerrie” Donoviel Manning Hill January 1, 1938 ~ March 1, 2019 Gerrie joined our Father in Heaven, Friday, March 1, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She married Clair R. Manning on May 7, 1961and their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on May 7, 1965. Together they had five children, Vonnie Manning, Kent Manning, Michele Racker (Mike), Van Manning (Kris), and Cherie Manning.

They were later divorced. On April 24, 2001, Gerrie married Ernest E. Hill. She had three step-children, Chris Edwards, Brian Hill, Randy Hill, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Esther Donoviel, and brother, Wayne Donoviel. She loved dancing, playing softball, sewing and gardening. Gerrie especially loved the Gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its teachings.

She supported her children with everything from coaching baseball, softball to posse and Den Mother. Gerrie loved unconditionally and will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the West Point LDS Ward, 855 North 4000 West.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, West Point Cemetery.
