Gethal Yvonne “Bonnie” Reed age 81 of Toronto, OH passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1937 in Birmingham, Alabama. Bonnie was a Member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Weirton, WV She admired 50’s music, and loved to sing.

Bonnie also enjoyed watching old movies and spending quality time with her family and close friends. You always heard a great story from her. Bonnie also loved her dog Belle, who traveled with her everywhere, even to Dublin, OH and Chicago, IL to visit family all the time.

She had been employed by First Data of Toronto, OH until retirement. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Frances (Boston) Bilkowski and her husband, Donald Thurman Reed in 1980 whom she married on June 21, 1958. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Yvonne (Shawn) Six of Dublin, OH; step-son, Donald T. (Margaret) Reed, Jr. of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Amy Reed and Donald M. Reed of Toronto, OH, Hamilton Six, Payton Six and Grayson Six of Dublin, OH; great-grandchild, Braiden Reed a brother, Gary Taylor (Marge) of Illinois and a sister-in-law Jane (Larry) Lynch of Toronto , OH and missed by all including several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours for Bonnie will be held 5-7 Saturday, July 28th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH. A celebration service of Bonnie’s life will be held at 7 P.MSaturday at the funeral home with Pastor Len Peeler officiating. Interment in the Toronto Union Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in memory of Bonnie may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church, 2682 Wylie Rd.
