OBITUARY GIANG THỊ MINH August 19, 1954 – July 12, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Giang Thi Minh, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Houston, TX. She was born on August 19, 1954 in Nam Dinh, Vietnam to Giang Ba Manh and Tran Thi Thi. On April 30, 1975, Minh and her sister, Giang Trieu Thanh fled Vietnam to the U.S. In 1976, she married Doan Vien Nguyen, and together they had four daughters.

Minh is survived by her husband, Doan Vien Nguyen; daughters Teresa Minh Trang Nguyen, Virginia Doan Trang Nguyen (Seng), Rosalind Minhvien Nguyen (Phuc), and Yolanda Thuy Tien Nguyen; 7 grandchildren Asia Jahnee McCall, Joseph Don-Vien McCall, Kyana Leslie-Denise Johnson, Kayla Nguyen Bun, Hailey Lien Bun, Mia Mylinh Hoang, and Emma Le Hoang; brother Giang Thanh Hai; and sister Giang Trieu Thanh (Dinh). Minh was preceded in death by her father Giang Ba Manh, mother Tran Thi Thi, and brother Giang Ba Nhuan. Minh was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park (Nha Quan Vinh Cuu).
