Obituary for Giles Guy L Krueger Giles “Guy” L. Krueger, 87, of Ashland, passed away, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Ohio Health Med Central Hospital with his family by his side. Guy was born September 15, 1931 in Ashland, to the late Carl and Gretchen (nee Shenberger) Krueger. He graduated from Oberlin High School in 1949 and graduated from Ashland College in 1955.

On June 16, 1957 he married Betty Ittner, she preceded him in death on November 22, 2007. He married Kay Henderson on August 5, 2010. Guy worked for the U.S. Plug and Fitting Company in Wellington, until returning to Ashland College in 1958 where he worked as a Director of Admissions for 40 years, then retired in 1998.

After retirement he worked part-time in the Municipal Court as Administrative Assistant Deputy Bailiff. He was the past treasurer, and is a life time member of the Ohio Association of College Admissions Counselors. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he served on church council, past chairman, member of the Trinity Outreach Fund, usher, and lector.

Guy was a member of the Ashland Masonic lodge 151 and a 32nd Degree Mason. A member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Columbus, and the Ashland County Shrine Club. He was also a member of B.P.O Elks Lodge 1360 and served 9 years on City Council from the third ward, as well as being a member of the Downtown Knights of the Round Table, CIC and City Club, and YMBC.

Guy also enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Kay, Guy will be deeply missed by, a daughter, Keely Ann (Mike) Eberly of Powell, Ohio, a son, Kurt E. (Kim) Krueger of Ashland, grandchildren; Kozmo Krueger, Burke (Ashley) Eberly, Gage (Emily) Eberly, and Briana (Steve) Williams, a great grandson, Brax Williams, step-sons, Larry (Cheri) Anderson of AZ, Dirk (Leann) Anderson of FL, and Brad (Kate) Long of Ashland. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018, at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center St, Ashland, Ohio 44805, with Rev.

Dr. Eric Riesen officiating. Friends may call from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Jack’s Place. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
