Gina Gay Johnson Knight, 53, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018. Gina was born April 6, 1965 in Gallatin, TN to the late William “Tommy” Johnson and the late Judith Braswell Cunningham. She was also preceded in death by son, R.J. Knight and step-mother, Juanita Hyatt Johnson.

Gina was a loving mother and Nana. She loved going to the beach, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, family and her best friend, Janesta Godwin. Survivors include beloved son, Michael Johnson and wife, Shelby, of Waxhaw, NC; brother, Craig Johnson and wife, Candice, of Middleburg, FL; grandchildren, Riley, Cayden and Damon; and step-mother, Shari Johnson.

A private memorial service to celebrate Gina’s life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to American Cancer Society. Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Knight family.
