Sadoski, 92, of Beaver Brook, died Tuesday at the Manor in St. Luke Village, Hazleton. Born in Beaver Brook, September 19, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Weir) Skurka and was a member of the Welsh Congregational Church, Hazleton. Most recently, until her retirement, she was employed for 27 years as a folder for McAdoo Manufacturing.

Gladys loved gardening and going on bus trips; and took great pride in taking care of her home. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents were her husband John Sadoski, brothers William Weir and George Surim; sisters Elizabeth Weir and Mary McKeegan and nephew Thomas Buliano. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by her niece and caregiver Kimberly McKeegan and several other nieces and nephews.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in the Mount Laurel Memorial Park, Hazleton. Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family through their Hazle Chapel in Hazleton.

SERVICES Private Interment Service Private Service There will be no viewing or public service. Gladys’ cremated remains will be interred privately in the Mt. Laurel Memorial Park.
