Obituary for Glen E. Roster Glen E. Roster (1933-2018) ALLISON – Glen E. Roster, 84, of Allison, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. He was born October 30, 1933 in Vinton, Iowa, son of Guy and Ethel (Lehman) Roster. He married Judy D. Hanson and they later divorced.

He then married Wilma “Esther” May on July 6, 1974 in Jesup, Iowa. She preceded him in death on January 31, 2013. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a milk route delivery driver and later fuel oil delivery driver for various companies.

Survived by: three sons, Robert (Karen) Roster of Cedar Falls, Dennis (Joyce) Roster of Aplington, and Donald John Roster of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Donna (Bobby Caston) Adelmund of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Roster of Orlando, FL; and five sisters: Shirley Clayton and Marge Blickenderfer, both of Waterloo, Stella Wilbur and Donna Cambridge, both of Springfield, MO, and June Smith of Oklahoma City, OK. Preceded in death by: two sons, Glen David and Mark A. Roster; two sisters, Charlotte Donley and Virginia Cornwell; and a daughter-in-law, Laurie Roster. Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 13, at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls with inurnment in Cedar Crest Cemetery in Jesup.

Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at the funeral home, and also for one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Glen E. Roster please visit our Sympathy Store.
