Glenn G. “Jerry” Gais, 80, of Saltsburg, passed away at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Born November 23, 1938, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Corridoni) Gais. Jerry lived in the Saltsburg area all of his life.

Jerry worked as a stock clerk for Torrance State Hospital for 30 years before retiring in the 1980’s. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years, and his favorite hobby was wine-making. In addition… Read More » to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Paul; sister, Rena Ashbaugh; and an infant sibling.

Jerry leaves behind his sister, Kathy (Buzz) Emanuel; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. Service and interment were held privately as per the family’s wishes. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 701 Salt Street, Saltsburg, PA 15681 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charity of one’s choice in Jerry’s memory.
