Obituary for Glenn Richard Hester Glenn Richard “Dick” Hester, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 6, 2018. Service: A graveside service with Military honors will be held at 9:15 AM on Wednesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 6-8:00 Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.

Dick was born on February 7, 1926 in Tyler as the only child to the late Homer and Mamie Hester. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater of WWII. He was honorably discharged in July of 1946 and retired from Vaught Aircraft Industries in 1991 after 38 years.

Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Karen Knowles Hester. Survivors: Children, Kelly, Janet, Craig, Lisa, David, and Melissa; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Upcoming Events Visitation 2018 APR 10.
