Glenn W. Amstutz, 73, of Delphos, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at his residence. He was born October 5, 1944, in Lima to Annabelle (Davis) Landrum and Woodrow Amstutz. Glenn was raised by his Aunt Grace Davis.

He was united in marriage to Beverly Jean Shufeldt on June 22, 1965. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2017. He is survived by a son, Jack (Kay) Franks of Delphos; three daughters, Michele Morrison of Delphos, Cheri (Tim) Schlagbaum of Palm Harbor, FL, and Stacy (Jeff Blackmore) Widmer of Van Wert; two brothers, Jesse (Sandy) Landrum of Paulding and Jerry Landrum of Middle Point; one sister, Jeannie Jenkins of Grover Hill; one sister-in-law, Paula (Wayne) Micha of Gomer; ten grandchildren; nine-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Morrison and grandson, Michael Morrison. Glenn retired from General Dynamics Tank Plant after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Delphos VFW #3035, The Delphos Masonic Lodge #214, and the Liars Club.

Glenn was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Air Force, with years in Thailand. He was an avid motor cycle enthusiast, riding his bike every single day, rain or shine, winter, spring, summer and fall. He raised thousands of dollars for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Ride for Kids program.

He was an avid Nascar fan, with Dale Ernhardt, Sr. being his favorite driver of all time. Glenn believed in donating blood and he did so all the time. He donated 157 total units of blood which is nearly 20 gallons.

Each unit saves three lives; therefore, Glenn saved 471 lives. Funeral Services will be held at Harter & Schier Funeral Home on Monday, April 23, 2018, at 2:00 pm. with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery with full military rites by the Delphos Veterans Council. Memorial contributions may be made to Pediatric Brain Tumor Ride for Kids.
