Glennis H. “Glenn” Bell, 79, of Elyria passed away Tuesday May 1, 2018 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born May 5, 1938 in Beckley, WV. And was a Lorain County resident for most of his life.

Glenn retired as a truck driver for ANR Frieght Systems in Brookpark. He served in the United States Army, was an avid racing fan and attended many Saturday night races at Lorain County Speedway and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include… Read More » his wife of 58 years, Deanna (nee-Shoup); daughters, Tammy (Mark) Smith and Tina Bryant; sons, Donald Bell and Terry Branch; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Whitey Bell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association 2451 Crystal Dr. Suite 900 Arlington, VA. 22202.
