Ms. Gloria Kitchens, 74, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Pruitt Health of Swainsboro. Ms. Kitchens was born July 12, 1944 in Swainsboro, GA to the late Willie Fields and Mary Ann Price Fields. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curly Kitchens; daughter, Missy Kitchens; brothers, Billy Ray Fields and Toby Fields.

Ms. Kitchens was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County, attended Swainsboro High School, and worked at Ithaca Industries. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter. Survivors include her brothers; Tommy (Toshie) Fields, and Randy Fields both of Swainsboro, and David (Sandra) Fields of Kite; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 with Reverends Louis Pearce and Franklin Sasser officiating. The Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
