Lush, Gordon Edwin, “Red”, age 90, died on Tuesday May 15, 2018. Mr. Lush was born October 21,1927 in Weedsport, NY. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Mildred Marie Lush.

He is survived by his three children, Donna Stair (David Grego), Robert Lush (Dianna), and James Lush (Ruth); three grandchildren, William Stair (Angela), Kathryn Sacra (Ted), and Rebecca Lush (Tasos Lazarides); great-grandson TJ. Mr. Lush enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, and he proudly served in China following the conclusion of the war. He resided for much of his life in the greater DC area in Greenbelt, MD, and had a career with Washing Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

In his retirement, Mr. Lush enjoyed spending time with family and pursuing his hobbies, which included reading and genealogy. He was well known for his love of desserts and discussing American history. A private burial will take place in Maryland at a later date.
