Gordon is survived by his mother: Dona Sue Francis, daughters: Brianne Bales and husband Buddy Cribbs, and Jenna Stewart and husband Jeremy, brother: Walter Bales and wife Judy, grandchildren; Makayla Cribbs, Alexi Cribbs, Gabriel Stewart and Thomas Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Russell Bales. .
