Obituary for Kristen Nicole Canup Funeral services for Kristen Nicole Canup, 23, of Gilmer will be held 2 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at McWhorter Funeral Home with Rusty Fennell and Mike Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born May 20, 1995 in Mt.

Pleasant and passed away May 27, 2018 in Longview. Kristen was a graduate of Gilmer High School in 2013, she was also a member of the Gilmer Stars drill team for 4 years. She then attended Kilgore College and received both her CNA certification and her PCT License, she worked at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview and Truman W. Smith children’s home in Gladewater.

Kristen was a member of First Baptist Church Gilmer. She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal great grandparents. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Thomas W. Canup Jr. Survivors include her parents No-Na Sharon & Pop-O Larry Green; birthmother, Danielle Canup McNary; Aunt NeNe Denise and uncle Sean Hart; siblings, Rustin Barton, Caitlin Drennan, Olivia Hart, and Mark Scaglione; brothers by love, Cole Hart and Cade Hart.

Pallbearers will be Cole Hart, Cade Hart, Olivia Hart, Sean Hart, Rustin Barton, Brian Barton, Caitlin Drennan, Rickey Drennan, Mark Scaglione, and Alex Scaglione.
