Elizabeth Anne Martin was born on March 24, 1954 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to Sidney Taylor Martin and Mae Elizabeth Martin. She passed away on April 11, 2018, in Washington, D.C. Anne, as she was known to most, was in government service for over thirty years, retiring in 2015. Since her retirement, she enjoyed the outdoors, traveling with her friends and family, and visiting museums.

She is survived by her brother, Michael D. Martin; her niece, Ericka Anne Martin, and her nephew, Jason Martin; her great-nephews; Erick Martin and Christopher Jacob Ramey; her great niece, Peyton Shea Martin, and first cousins, Susan Martin, Melinda McCaw, Henry Louis Burgoon, Martha Faulkner, and Tom Martin.

Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home and will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at the City Cemetery, Highway 271 North, in Gilmer.
