Memorial services for, Linda E. Orms, age 79, of Ore City, will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the chapel at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Diana. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Linda was born Linda Elizabeth Willeford on July 26, 1938, in Gilmer, to the late, Charlie and Dessie (Shockey) Willeford.

Nanny lived to love and care for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; she was an avid reader, and dedicated PTA mom when her children were going through school.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Mr. Jim Orms of Ore City; three sons, Terry Orms and wife Tammy of Ore City, Clint Orms and wife Louann of Gilmer, Rick Orms and wife Sheila of Gilmer; daughter, LuAnne Whitlock and husband Tony of Diana; brother, Billy joe Willeford and wife Bobbie of Diana; brother-in-law, Eddie Orms and wife Betty of Gilmer; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Willeford, Leon “Buddy” Willeford; and sister, Hulene Cargill.
