She was born on November 8, 1967 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Royce and Linnie (Minshew) Threadgill. Glennda was a lifelong resident of Upshur County and worked as a sales clerk, she was also of the Baptist faith.

Glennda is survived by her mother, Linnie Threadgill; brothers, Ronald Threadgill, Rodger Threadgill, and Royce Threadgill, Jr.; sisters, Rhonda Threadgill, Robin Stephens; granddaughter, Aariyana Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Whitni Ray; father, Royce Threadgill, Sr.; paternal grandparents, James and Cleola Threadgill; maternal grandparents, Carl and Inez Minshew; and uncle, Robert Minshew.
