A celebration of life for Robert “Bob” Thomas Grant, will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Robert “Bob” Thomas Grant, age 64, of Hawkins, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Grapevine, TX. Bob was born in Denver, CO.

Bob was a larger than life man who never burned a bridge.

He loved his job and the network of friends that came with it. He looked forward to retiring to his house on the hill and finishing his many projects he and his wife had planned for it. Bob was the epitome of a good man.

He will be missed greatly, and will never be forgotten. He married his loving wife, the former, Cheryl (Rose) Johnson in 1998, in Waco, Texas. Bob is survived by his wife, Cheryl Grant of Hawkins; sons, Michael Grant and wife Sarah of Temple Terrace, FL.

, Kareem Grant and wife Dyanne of Houston; daughters, Georgia Johnson of Hawkins, Danna Harrison and husband Adam of Hawkins, Jennifer Gheen and husband Wesley of Rockwall; brother, Marion “Bill” Grant, Jr., and wife Mary Ann of Princeville, IN. ; sister, Sharman Wilson of Overland Park, KS. ; 2 grandchildren Logan Grant and Maddison Grant.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Grant; and his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Safe Haven Equine Rescue, 4994 FM 2088, Gilmer, TX 75644 www.
