Services for Doy Lynn Cooner, 66, of Diana, will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Smyrna United Methodist Church, with Reverend Josue Contreras and Reverend James Fleet officiating, Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Mr. Cooner passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018, in Longview. Doy Lynn was born October 8, 1951, to Doy Lee and Willie Fern Kuykendall Cooner.

He is survived by his loving wife, Genia Lynn Cooner of Diana; daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea Lynn and Josue Contreras of Cookville, Jennifer Lynn and Steven Jones of Diana, Kristen Lynn and Justin Echols of Diana; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Debbie Cooner of Hollister, MO; grandchildren, Joshua Contreras, and wife, Jade, Rachel, Rebekah, Sarah, Lydia, Miriam, Esther, Isaiah, and Jacob Contreras, Brady, Brandon, and Lexi Jones, Hunter and Casen Echols, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Select Specialty Hospital for their loving care and support during this time.
