Obituary for Grace Charlotte Wyrick Hamilton Mrs. Grace Charlotte Wyrick Hamilton, 98, peacefully passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at her home in Charlotte, NC with her loving husband by her side. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2018, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Buddy Pigg will officiate the ceremony.

Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, NC. Mrs. Hamilton was born July 22, 1920 in Graham, NC. She was the daughter of the late Lynwood Wyrick and Florence Wyrick of Kannapolis, NC.

She attended Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Matthews, NC. She passionately loved the Lord and served Him faithfully throughout her life.

She had a contagious love and affection for Christ and raised her five children in the admonition of the Lord. She was a beloved mother and wife. She was blessed to be married to the love of her life for 77 years.

She co-owned several businesses with her husband and used them as a mission field to share her faith with others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Adele Rasnake; and three brothers, Hoyt, Doug and Howard Wyrick. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband of 77 years, Charles Wilson Hamilton; five children, Janna Farmer and husband Tom of Rockingham, NC, Dollene Hamilton of Rockingham, NC, Don Hamilton and wife Susan of Little River, SC, Nancy Corbett and husband David of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Sue Ecleberry and husband Jeff of Charlotte, NC; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 2817 Mt. Harmony Church Road, Matthews, NC, 28105.
