Obituary for Betty Kennedy Simpson Mrs. Betty Kennedy Simpson, 88, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Trinity Oaks in Salisbury. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev.

Brenda Bynum will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 9 to 9:45 am Wednesday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Simpson was born October 11, 1930 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Elbert H. Kennedy and Dovie Cates Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Ray Simpson, Jr.; and sister, Virginia K. Wright.
